What we make
Every line we make, made to order
Shop and supermarket racking, storage for godowns and record rooms, cable tray for building work, and seating for the offices we fit out. All of it is fabricated in Kanpur and sized to the space it has to go into.
Made in Kanpur. Measured to your shop.
Racks by where they go
Tell us the kind of shop, and we will tell you the rack
Most people come to us describing a place rather than a product — a chemist's shop, a godown, a record room. These are the ones we build for most weeks.

Supermarket & Grocery
Wall runs down both sides, island units down the middle, and a shelf pitch set to the packets and cartons you actually stock.

Medical & Chemist Shops
Narrow frontage, so the walls do the work — with compartment racking behind the counter to keep strips and boxes apart.

Garment & Footwear
Runs for folded stock and boxed footwear. The compartments are what stop sizes and shades ending up in one pile.

Warehouse & Godown
Built to the height the shed gives you. Cartons, spares and slow-moving stock that still has to be findable in a hurry.

Office & Record Rooms
Registers and files kept upright and separated by year or department, with the desk and visitor chairs to go with them.

Why people order from us
What comes with every order
None of this is an extra you pay for. It follows from making the rack ourselves instead of buying it in.
Made to your size
Your wall, your aisle, your ceiling height. Round numbers are the exception, not the rule.
Powder coated finish
Hard wearing, slow to rust, and finished in whatever shade you ask for.
Adjustable shelves
Reset the pitch yourself when the stock mix changes. The rack does not need replacing for that.
Made in our own plant
No middleman, nothing subcontracted. That is the reason an odd measurement is not a problem.
Delivered and installed
Our team puts the run up, squares it off and takes the packing away. Nothing arrives flat packed.
We are still here later
Extra bays, more shelves, or a second shop — handled by the same people who did the first job.
About the company
We are the ones who make it.
Sunil Sahyogi started Perfect Racks in 1995 and still runs it. There is no trading desk in the middle: the steel is cut, formed and coated at our own plant in Kanpur, and the person who prices your job is the person who builds it.
Sunil Sahyogi has run the firm since 1995. Ask for him by name — in five years, when you want three more shelves, it is still the same man on the other end of the phone.
What people come to us with
Most jobs start with a space that will not take a standard rack.
A shop narrower than the catalogue size. A godown with a beam in the way. A counter that needs one compartment per item. These are the ones we hear most weeks.
If that sounds like your shop, send a photograph and rough measurements. It is enough for us to start.
- 01
The shop is not a standard size
A ready-made rack leaves a gap at the end of the run, and that gap is frontage you are paying rent on. We cut to your wall instead.
- 02
There is a beam, duct or pillar in the way
We measure around it and build to what is actually there. Awkward dimensions are ordinary work here, not a special request.
- 03
The old racks have started rusting
Paint chips first along the shelf edge, where stock gets pushed in and dragged out. Powder coating takes that handling far better.
- 04
Stock keeps getting mixed up
Sizes, shades and part numbers on one flat shelf end up as one pile. Give every line its own compartment and picking stops being a search.
- 05
The last supplier could not be reached again
A trader who does not manufacture cannot add three shelves two years later. We can, because we made the first ones.
How it works
From your first message to a fitted shop
Five steps, and the first one takes about a minute.
- 01
Send us the space
A photograph and rough measurements on WhatsApp is enough to start. Ring us instead if that is easier.
- 02
We measure and plan
In and around Kanpur we come and measure ourselves. Further out we work from the dimensions and photographs you send.
- 03
You get a quotation
Itemised, priced against your actual measurements, with the delivery time written on it.
- 04
We make it
Cut, formed and powder coated at the plant, to the sizes you approved and nothing else.
- 05
Delivery and fitting
Our team puts it up, levels it, and leaves with the packing rather than leaving it with you.
Before you enquire
The questions we get asked first
How is a rack priced?
Against the fitting, never against a catalogue. Height, shelf count, gauge, finish and extras like end panels or branding all pull the number about. A published rate card would be wrong for most rooms, so we ask for the measurements first and price what you are actually having built.
Can you make a size that is not standard?
That is the usual case, not the exception. Almost everything that leaves here is cut to a measurement somebody gave us — shops, godowns and offices are rarely built to round numbers, and a rack that nearly fits is a rack you resent for years.
Do you deliver outside Kanpur?
Yes, and regularly. Kanpur and the districts around it are close enough for us to come and measure ourselves. Further afield we work from your dimensions and photographs and send the finished job out from the plant. Give us the pin code with your enquiry and we will tell you straight away what we can cover.
How long does an order take?
It turns on the size of the job and what is already on the floor at the plant, so there is no single answer. Whatever it works out to, the lead time is written on your quotation — you know it before you commit, not after.
Do you install, or is it delivered flat?
Our own team brings it and puts it up. They level the run, square it off and take the packing away with them. You will not be spending a Sunday assembling cartons with your shop staff.
Send us your shop measurements.
A photograph of the wall or the floor, and rough sizes. That is all we need to give you a price.
