The product
What it is, and when it earns its place
In a godown the floor is finite and the roof is not, so racking is how you buy the space you already rent. Upright frames go up braced, beams span between them, and the pallets sit on the beams at whatever heights your stock actually comes in at.
Because the beams bolt rather than weld, a level moves when the stock changes. That is worth more than it sounds — a godown that stocks cartons in March and drums in October should not need a new rack for the second one.
Aisle width is the part people leave until last and should decide first. Tell us what moves the pallets — a hand pallet truck, a stacker, a forklift — and the layout comes back with aisles that machine can actually turn in.

How much will a beam level carry?
That is set per rack rather than quoted from a list. Tell us the pallet size and how heavy a loaded one runs, and the loading per level is confirmed with your quotation.
How wide do the aisles need to be?
It depends on what moves the stock. A hand pallet truck needs far less room to turn than a forklift, so tell us which you use and the layout is drawn around it.
Can levels be changed later?
Yes. The beams bolt into the uprights, so a level moves when the stock profile does without rebuilding the frame.
