The product
What it is, and when it earns its place
A revolving chair is the one piece of office furniture that gets used for eight hours without a break, and it is the one people notice when it is wrong. Height adjustment and castors are what let a chair fit the person rather than the other way round, and on a floor of mixed desks that matters more than the finish does.
The back is the choice worth spending a minute on. Mesh breathes, which is what you want in a room that runs warm or where the sitting stretches are long. Upholstered looks heavier and holds its shape longer in a room that stays cool.
Quantities count for more here than anywhere else in our range, because a floor of eight matching chairs prices differently from one. It is also part of what we supply rather than fabricate ourselves, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.
What we need to quote it
- How many chairs, and whether they all match
- Whether the room runs warm, which decides mesh against upholstery
- Desk or counter height, which decides arms and gas lift range
- Whether any cabin chairs need a high back
- Any existing office finish the seating should sit alongside
Where it is used
Where this one usually goes
Offices and back-office floors
Staff at desks all day, matched across the floor so the fit-out reads as one set.
Cabins and manager desks
A heavier chair behind the desk where the room is seen by visitors.
Billing counters and workstations
Height adjustment that suits a counter rather than a standard desk.

Questions
Revolving Chairs: common questions
Mesh back or upholstered?
Mesh is the better choice in a room that runs warm or where people sit for long stretches. Upholstered suits cabins and meeting areas where appearance matters more than ventilation.
Do you supply chairs on their own?
Yes, though most seating goes out alongside an office fit-out. Either way, tell us the quantities and we will price the set.
Do you make the chairs yourselves?
No. Racking and storage we fabricate at our own plant in Kanpur; seating we source and supply to your specification. It is the one part of the range that works that way, and we would rather be straight about it.
Send us your shop measurements.
A photograph of the wall or the floor, and rough sizes. That is all we need to give you a price.
